StageFright Publicity | 2011

Thanks 2011.  That was awesome.

It was a year to remember at StageFright Publicity.  The company continued to focus on only working with records I love – a policy that keeps me honest, excited and motivated.  This year’s runaway success stories included working on the acclaimed Bon Iver album, Austra’s breakthrough debut Feel It Break and fulfilling a long-standing dream of working with Liam Gallagher and his new band Beady Eye.

Domestically speaking – StageFright Publicity artists were very popular with this year’s Polaris Music Prize jurors with seven albums being included on their long list.  Those albums were: Austra’s Feel It Break, Louise Burns’ Mellow Drama, One Hundred Dollars’ Songs Of  Man, The Rural Alberta Advantage’s Departing, PS I Love You’s Meet Me At The Muster Station, Young Galaxy’s Shapeshifting and Little Scream’s The Golden Record – for those keeping score.

Already looking forward to 2012 – StageFright Publicity will be busy working on new records from PS I Love You, Young Galaxy, Cuff The Duke and many, many more.
